The reason why crystals and gemstones are wonderful and powerful healing tools is because the constant electrical vibrations of the stones help to harmonize, balance, and stimulate these energies that are sifting through our body, and if the energy is sluggish, the constant electrical vibrations of the stones will help to harmonize, balance, and stimulate these energies.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

A friend sent me this message. I thought it was worthwhile sharing. george-carlin

“The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider freeway, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more  problems, more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.

We’ve  learned how to make a living, but not a life. We’ve added years to life not life to years. We’ve been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We’ve done larger things, but not better things.

We’ve cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We’ve conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We’ve learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less…”

Tattoo Engagement Ring

These tattoos are what my husband & I chose to do instead of an engagement ring.  It means more to us than a piece of metal & a stone ever would…not that I don’t love jewellery!kelly_tattoo

Redefining Change

I received this inspiring New Years email from my friend Veronica and would love to share it with everyone.

Redefining Change

Whether for a moment, or much more, our lives are a series of relationships and experiences, all of which we can choose to be grateful for, since there is valuable learning in each and every one of them.

At the dawn of a New Year, I am reminded that the past, present and sometimes the possible future is always filled with gifts that help us to uncover the most important learning necessary for us to become more capable of manifesting the lives we are passionate about living, lives filled with love, joy, beauty, harmony, adventure, and abundance.

All of that said, it is still in this moment, and every this moment, that we can take that learning, turn it on it’s heals, and allow it to propel us in the direction of what it is we most truly desire. I call it “facing the music, then rewriting the lyrics”.

As well as a New Years Re-solution, what if we tried these three steps for every situation, person or experience, past, present and future, that presents any sort of challenge to our growing peace of mind.

Forgive… release and let it go, it no longer serves you
Purify… let the light in, take a deep breath
Transmute… heal, watch the miracles unfold, become anew
From there anything is possible

New Year - A fresh start and setting new goals!

A call for conscious action! Take a moment to pause, pray, meditate, or roll out the yoga mat. Inhale a deep breath and slowly exhale, reflect and acknowledge the year that has passed. Express gratitude for what you have to be grateful for and on that next exhale release those outmoded habits and attitudes that restrict your progress. It’s easy to get caught up in your own personal drama, or glance at the front page of newspaper headlines and feel a sense of despair.

Seize the moment and take this New Year opportunity to make changes – a shift in consciousness. Chose to live your life with a greater sense of purpose, follow through – consideration. Express a clear intention whether to shed the holiday excess, spend more time with friends and family, make a career change or create more peace in our corner of the world. Take responsibility and conscious action to transform and achieve your goals.

ChakraVibe jewelry – a personal reminder to help you stay focused, and keep your goals on track, whatever they may be. This year, wear a piece of jewelry every day to remind you of your goals.
