Jewelry Designer: Teresa Buccione

 

Designing jewelry has been a creative outlet for Teresa Buccione for the past ten years. Her first venture into design was with Angel Gear, a jewelry line featuring unique pieces each crafted to be aesthetically pleasing and infused with positive energy. A piece was not complete until it “felt right” to Teresa.

Four years ago Teresa discovered yoga, and what began as a simple exercise routine soon became an integral part of her daily life. “Yoga kept me physically toned and gave me positive energy, keeping me grounded and spiritually connected,” Teresa explains. “These are benefits I continue to experience as my practice develops.”

It was through this ancient practice that Teresa became interested in the chakra system - energy points in the body that work together to support mind, body and spirit. Naturally, her curiosity in the chakras became an influence in her jewelry design. Incorporating the symbolism and energy of the chakras into her creative expressions made perfect sense.

As a daily reminder of the chakras and the need to keep life in balance, Teresa designed a colorful Seven Chakra necklace for herself. From the moment she wore the first chakra-inspired necklace, it was clear that many others were also drawn to the beauty and intention behind the piece. This was the beginning of ChakraVibe Inc.

ChakraVibe jewelry is created to help wearers find inner balance and bring beauty into their lives. By meditating or simply being reflective for a few minutes and then choosing a colour she is attracted to, the ChakraVibe piece can be used by a woman as a daily reminder of the chakras and the practice of being conscious and connected.

While the colors have special meaning, the simple pleasure of putting on an exquisite piece of jewelry also has its own reward.
